The Full Story
From start to finish, our goal is to facilitate you getting the loan that you need to purchase your home, with the lowest rate available, and as stress free as possible.
The first step is to complete a loan application with us either by phone or with our secure online application. Applying for a loan is free and will give you a great guide as to how much home you can afford.
We are committed to spending the time with you to understand your goals and how we can best help you.
You will be asked to provide documents that back up what is on your loan application. Tax returns, W-2s, and other documents will be required in order that we can put together the package for approval.
Once your documents are received, we start you through the pre-approval process. In this stage, you will have a better understanding of how much you can be approved for, or what other criteria will need to be met.
At this point, it may be necessary to meet with us to strategize the type of loan you want depending on what loan products you qualify for. For example; what is more strategic, 15 years or 30 years?
SHOP FOR YOUR HOME
Now its time to shop with your agent to find your next home. This can be the fun part of the process. Be sure during this time, you do not enter into any credit contracts, buy a new car, or miss a payment. Be diligent!
MAKE AN OFFER
Once you have found a home that fits your needs in a location your desire, make a solid offer. If the housing inventory is low, it may take a few offers to finally get one accepted. Stay flexible, open minded, and persistent.
Congratulations! You have an offer accepted. Take a moment to celebrate. We will open escrow and your agent will order inspections, appraisals, and manage the contingencies in your accepted offer.
Inspections are an important part of the process as they will help protect your investment. The appraisal is also key, as the property will need to appraise for the loan amount.
Our skilled team of Underwriters will review your file to ensure that you qualify. Underwriting is done in-house, giving our team full control over the transaction to ensure a smooth process.
